Hello LCC alumni,
If you’re looking for an opportunity to put your leadership skills to work in our community, Atlas Community High School is seeking board members, volunteers, and community partners to help bring a new school to life.
Atlas is developing a Montessori-informed high school centered on belonging, purpose, and community, with plans for income-based tuition, hands-on learning, and partnerships with local businesses and nonprofits.
Their upcoming Community Info Night is an opportunity to hear the vision, meet the people behind it, and explore how your experience and connections could help move the school toward opening.
We’re excited to have fellow LCC alumnus James Barnes as our speaker for the evening, helping share Atlas’s inspiring vision and the role our community can play in making it a reality.

Atlas is looking for community leaders interested in:
Board service: Help shape the school’s direction, strengthen governance, and build the support needed to open.
Volunteer leadership: Contribute your skills in areas such as outreach, fundraising, event planning, and organizational development.
Community connections: Introduce potential partners, donors, volunteers, and other advocates to Atlas.
This evening is specifically about leadership, service, and helping build the school. You do not need to have a prospective student to attend, and no commitment is expected.
LCC alumni bring experience, relationships, and a commitment to community that could make a meaningful difference at this stage of Atlas’s development. We encourage you to attend and explore where you might contribute.
