Introducing Maker Experiences — hands-on classes where YOU get to design and create your own products using 3D printing, laser machines, DTF and more!

You’ll create something that’s uniquely yours — and take home a finished product you made yourself!

Our Maker Experiences will be open to people of all abilities and designed to make creativity, technology and hands-on learning accessible to everyone.

Today we thought we’d have some fun and see if the WeCreat Vision Pro 45w was able to engrave on these leaves! We used 33%power, 305 speed, 100 dpi. What do you think? These would be perfect for dinner parties, weddings, even meetings! WeCreat

☀️ Save the Date for our Summer Picnic! ☀️

Autism Empowerment, Spectrum Life Magazine and Special Celebrations invite you to our Annual Picnic and Potluck!

📅 Saturday, August 1st, 2026
⏰ 11:00 am – 2:30 pm
📍 Salmon Creek Park / Klineline Pond
1112 NE 117th St., Vancouver, WA 98685

Join us for good food, social connections, fun games, resources, and a relaxed time together at the park. This is a free, low-key community event for youth, adults, and families of all abilities.

Hamburgers, hot dogs, and drinks will be provided free while supplies last, including gluten-free and vegan options.

We look forward to meeting new and old friends, including readers of Spectrum Life Magazine, friends and family from Special Celebrations, AWEtism We Embrace, AE Neurodivergent Creators Collective, and our wonderful volunteering team Autism Serves - Helping Hands!

What to bring, if able:
🥗 A potluck item to share (side dish, fruit, chips, dessert, etc)
🪑 Seating or supplies that help you feel comfortable
🚗 $5 for Salmon Creek Park parking

Jonah here has been learning how to make tshirts through an order we have from a local business. The new DTF printer took a while to get used to as the process involves printing the film then applying a special powder before placing in the DTF oven to cure. Then it could be pressed on products. What do you think??? Support Skyler’s Workshop to keep Jonah and our other participants earning while learning.
