Meet Ambassador Bailey Lim!

Bailey has always been interested in art, ever since she was able to hold a crayon, she has never been able to stop creating. She started formally taking art classes in 8th grade through her middle school, and continues to take art in High school. Recently, Bailey has had her artwork displayed throughout Vancouver and Camas, most notably her Library Card design, The Hidden Beauty of the PNW, at the Camas Public Library.

When she isn’t in school, studying, or making art, Bailey often finds herself creating art content on social media platforms like TikTok and YouTube, running Camas High School’s Asian Culture Food Club as President of the Club, sleeping, hanging out with friends and family, and practicing shooting at r***e practice.

Bailey hopes that her passion for art can inspire others. The arts are so important for Bailey because they have opened so many pathways for her, like being able to share her passion through her social media to over 160,000 people around the world, to finding and bonding with others who share the same interest in the arts. As an Arts Ambassador, Bailey hopes to share her love for art with the community through teaching young students the fundamentals as well as creating a mural for the community to enjoy.

Wow - what an amazing night for Fiddlin’ & Folktales at Covington House. The place was packed and it was a truly magical combination of music and storytelling in this wonderful building with so much history! Traditionally, Covington House was a space to bring people together to enjoy music and the arts. It felt like we truly brought this space to life!

Thank you so much to the Clark County Historical Museum for hosting us! We’re definitely thinking about bringing this event back next year - so much fun!

And, of course, thank you to our amazing artists Seth & Will for creating this wonderful moment in time!

Meet Ambassador Izzie Martin!

Izzie has been playing violin for almost 8 years. She enjoys cleaning, volunteering at the Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital, playing video games, playing tennis, spending time with friends, and most of all playing the violin. She is planning to go to a college after high school. Music is a big part of her life where she can have fun and learn new things.

Izzie has been playing with the Metropolitan Youth Symphony and is heading into her 5th year of playing with one of their orchestras. Izzie wanted to be an Arts Ambassador to help spread the love of music to other people that may not know about the joy of playing a musical instrument. She also wants to help others and make a difference in her own and different communities.
