Clark County Fair Mounted Patrol was started in 1975 by a group of people who were frustrated by fence jumpers getting into the fair.

We continue to patrol the parking lots to maintain the safety and security of the fair. 2023 Elected Board

Whether you're a seasoned pro or brand new to hauling a trailer, this is your chance to get hands-on experience in a no-pressure, all-fun environment!

🐴🎡 Meet the Fence Riders of 2025! 🎡🐴
What started in 1975 as a group guarding the fence line has grown into a fairtime fan favorite, The Clark County Fair Mounted Patrol also affectionately known as the “Fence Riders”! From helping lost fairgoers find their cars to striking a pose for selfies, these red-shirted heroes (and their four-legged partners 🐎) are here to help, serve, and spread some fairground cheer.
📸 Spot them in the lot, wave hello, and don’t forget to take a pic — you just might end up with the most legendary selfie of the fair!

Ladies and Gentleman, the time has come again for our Trailer Rodeo!!
We have survived the fair, recovered a bit and are ready to put on this great event again!

And just like that ladies and gentleman we bid our farewells to the Clark County Fair 2024.
The smiles, the laughs and all of the hustle and bustle for 10 days. Tomorrow we wake up at home and begin to reflect on our most favorite parts of this summers best party.
One thing that sticks out to us this year is Community. It takes a community to run this team, it takes a community to make this place so special, and we couldn’t be more thankful.
Cheers to 2024, we’re already looking forward to 2025! See you there!

With all the attention our friends over at the Clark County Sheriffs Office are getting regarding their amazing new hat options, we had to jump in and get them featured with us! Doesn't she just look like she belongs on that horse!!

But even before today, The Fence Riders have always had a wonderful relationship with the CCSO. In fact its been a long tradition to have a Sheriff ride out with us on one patrol during fair week. This year we were more than happy to welcome Deputy Quiggle out with us for a little ride! We may have thrown her on the spot but she jumped on and lead our team out for our 7th night of patrolling the lots like she's been doing it her whole life.

Thank you again Deputy Quiggle for joining us along with Deputy Boyse, who joined our quad team to patrol last night. we've got an open saddle or quad for you two anytime!

We wanted to take today to highlight an event that we get the privilege to partake in each year of the fair, often being some of our members favorite part of their week.
Each year Clark County Fair becomes home for one of the best rodeos around, the amazing, Special Kids Rodeo.
Last Sunday a number of the mounted patrol members got to dress in their finest western shirts and help put smiles on the faces of some of the sweetest cowboys and cowgirls there are.
This event is held very near and dear to our hearts, welcoming children from ages of 6-12 with special needs to come in and compete in a few different events all with a volunteer cowboy or cowgirl guiding them through the courses.
If you haven't made it out to experience this yet, put it on your calendar today, for next years rodeo, its truly something magical and your not going to want to miss it!

Summers best party is cruising on by!
This fair had been one for the books, each and every one of you has brought the joy and energy we love!
From smiles in the lots to waves as we parade by, your Mounted Patrol Team is so thankful to be out there each night!
