Our sweet little Nachito has passed away very early this morning.
He faced an uphill battle from the very beginning, and despite every obstacle, he kept trying. And we kept fighting right alongside him, bringing in a hero donor dog to give him plasma serum in hopes it would give his wee body the boost it needed to get over his latest hurdle.
While we desperately wanted a different ending to his story, we take comfort in knowing that every single moment of his life was filled with love. He knew warmth, tenderness, safety, and the comfort of being cherished. He never had to fight alone.
To everyone who cheered him on, sent love, held hope, and believed in him, thank you. You were part of his little world, and what a beautiful world of love you helped surround him with.
His life may have been heartbreakingly short, but it was never insignificant. He mattered. He was wanted. He was adored. And he will be remembered.
Now he can rest. 🤍🐾
