Last night, we celebrated our incredible volunteers and the community, government, and corporate partners who support TART Trails throughout the year at our annual Volunteer Appreciation Party.
We also honored four outstanding recipients:
🏆 Ambassador of the Year | Leelanau Trail Invasive Species Crew
Jerry West, Matt Frye, and Pat O’Connor have spent their summers since 2018 clearing invasive species and educating trail users along the Leelanau Trail.
🏆 Community Partner | Up North Pride
For helping bring the 2SLGBTQIA+ community onto the trails through events like the Rainbow Run and Pride Rides.
🏆 Corporate Partner | Oryana Community Co-op
For their incredible support of Smart Commute Week, trail etiquette, trail maps, Groceries for Good, and so much more.
🏆 Government Partner | East Bay Township
For championing nonmotorized transportation through Safe Routes to School, the Three Mile Trail, Civic Plaza, and more.
A huge THANK YOU to every volunteer and partner who gives their time, energy, and resources to make our community better. We couldn't do it without you!
