Everyone looks up at the fireworks. Today we're looking at the people who made them possible.
To every volunteer who gave up their own holiday weekend — the Coast Guard crew grilling brats and hot dogs, the folks taking tickets, the ones who set up every table before the sun got hot and stayed to clean up and break it all down long after the crowd headed home — thank you. You turned a beach into the best seat in northern Michigan. This show belongs to you as much as anyone. ❤️

PSA - The Traverse City Boom Boom Club is all-volunteer. All of your generous donations have gone to putting on tonight's show. That means the person making these posts (me) will do my best to keep up with questions but after 5:00 tonight we'll all be setting up tables, getting the party ready, then making sure everyone is having a great time - so will be very slow to respond to message. But will do my best!

The National Cherry Festival and the proudly present the Centennial Night Extravaganza! A spectacular Independence Day celebration unlike anything Traverse City has seen before.

🎇 One of the largest fireworks displays ever presented by the Traverse City Boom Boom Club over West Grand Traverse Bay
🚁 A custom drone show by Great Lakes Drone Company
✈️ Breathtaking aerial pyrotechnics by Kyle Fowler of GO EZ Aerobatics and Nate Hammond of GhostWriter Airshows

All combining into one dazzling, choreographed display, a true tribute to both milestones.
