PS Tomorrow Needs You presents
The magician with a story to tell, Michigan’s very own Anthony Grupido. He has opened for the Impractical Jokers and Jim Gaffigan. He will be telling his story of being a 3 time su***de surviver with a flare of world class magic. Because of the content we recommend 12 and older unless accompanied by a parent. Admission is free. Donations are welcome!

We have some amazing news to share. Today we received a donation of $10,000 from Wyoming Fire Fighters - Local 2758.

This is a great gift for our team and we cannot thank them enough for thinking of us.

The funds come from the Zach Jones Memorial golf outing that their department puts on every year.
Zach was a member with their department, a brother, a friend, a father, and someone who is missed every day.

In 2022, Michigan lost 8 first responders to su***de. This was the highest number of su***des in our history at that time.
Sadly, Zach was one of those numbers. However, Zach is not just a number to us. He is a brother whose voice was silent by a darkness that is taking more first responder lives than any line of duty death.

His voice might have been silent on that day, but we promise that your story will never end, and these funds will help another brother, sister, and or their immediate family that needs any type of mental health assistance.

This donation will be dedicated to our First Responder Mental Health Relief Fund.
This fund allows first responders, active or retired, or their immediate family up to $500 to help them with any mental health related cost. (Co pays, flights to get to a treatment center, therapist visits).
This is only for Michigan residents.

July 22. Same event. Two completely different experiences of it.
Oxford High School shooting survivor Kylie Ossege and firefighter-paramedic Justin Templeton were both there that day — one on the ground, one responding to the call. Years later, they're sharing what that day was like from where they stood, and what came after.

FST5 clinicians will unpack why the same traumatic event can hit a survivor, a responder, and a family so differently — and what actually helps in the aftermath. This isn't about analyzing Justin or Kylie. It's about helping frontline workers recognize normal responses to abnormal events, and find real ways to support themselves, their peers, and the people they serve after a critical incident.

This amazing artwork was done by my buddies talented wife and I use it in all of my mental health presentations. Many of you have seen it.

So, what do you see when you look at this image?

When your responder is in the depths of the darkness, their spouse is right there with them.
Often times, being that backbone they need when they feel alone in the dark.

We talk heavily about PTSD in our first responders, but what about their significant others that stood in the trenches with their struggling responder?
They talked us down from the cliff.
They picked us up off of the floor when we had “one more beer”.
They took the gun from our hands and listened to us when needed.
They watched in silent horror as we allowed our darkness and anger to show.
They stayed by our side through the yells, angry outbursts, screams, and cries.

I want all first responders to know that our team is here for you 24/7.

I want all first responder significant other and children to know that our team is here for you 24/7.

None of you are alone.

On November 30, 2021, Kylie Ossege was a student at Oxford High School. Justin Templeton was a firefighter-paramedic who responded that day.

That's the heart of our next FST5 webinar: Same Event, Different Wounds. Kylie and Justin are sharing their perspectives — what that day looked like from where they each stood, and what the years since have looked like. FST5 clinicians join them to unpack why trauma hits a survivor, a responder, and a family member so differently, and what actually helps people move forward afterward.

This isn't about reliving the worst day. It's about understanding what comes after it — for the people who lived it, and for every first responder who's ever carried something home from a call.
