Rome New Discoveries Preschool students got to see and explore the Rome Fire Truck and AmCare Ambulance during our Community Helpers week. The students learned how to control the water hose and explore medical devices and features of the trucks.

To continue our mission of providing meaningful opportunities to people of all abilities, Upstate Caring Partners is excited to announce the “Together We Grow” Campaign to expand Tradewinds Education Center’s offerings at The Root Farm in Sauquoit.

The Root Farm has always been a place where human potential is nurtured through meaningful connection to animals, nature, and community. It is through fostering these all-important relationships that confidence is grown, horizons are broadened, and joy is experienced. The expansion of Tradewinds programming at The Root Farm will nurture these relationships for years to come by building pathways that lead to skill-building and greater independence for those with intellectual, developmental, and behavioral disabilities.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s Buddy Walk such a fun filled event! The rain didn’t deter anyone from participating; we appreciate the passion and dedication of everyone involved. Thank you to Arrow Bank, MVCC, Utica University, Young Scholars LPP, Proctor NJROTC, The Children’s Museum, LifePLAN, Utica Public Library, pieces of heART, Old Dog Coffee Company, Assemblywoman Marianne Buttenschon and ALL of our attendees for making it a walk to remember.

Thank you to everyone who donated during Mohawk Valley Gives, your donation will make a lasting impact on the children in our Early Intervention Program.

We are so grateful for your support of Upstate Caring Partners during the MV Gives campaign.

Thanks to you, children in our Early Intervention program will soon have a playground where they can climb, bike, run and jump and practice the social skills they are learning!
