Through the Social Care Network (SCN) initiative, we're helping individuals and families overcome barriers and connect with essential services throughout our community!

🚗 Transportation Support – Helping you find transportation options for medical appointments, employment, and other essential needs.

🚙 Ride United – Connecting individuals with safe, reliable rides through our transportation partnership.

📋 Screening & Eligibility – Helping determine eligibility for SCN services and completing necessary screenings.

🧭 Resource Navigation – Connecting you with available programs and guiding you through the process.

🤝 Case Management – Providing personalized support to help you set goals, overcome challenges, and access resources.

🎃👻 WHAT AN INCREDIBLE SPOOKTACULAR! 👻🎃

WOW, Mohawk Valley! You showed up, and you made our United Royalties Spooktacular an unforgettable event! With hundreds of community members joining us for an afternoon of Halloween fun, we couldn't be more grateful for the incredible support that made it all possible! 🧡

We have some very special THANK YOU'S to share!

🏦 Bank of Utica & AmeriCU Credit Union – Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to welcome the first 40 children FREE of charge! Your support helped make this experience accessible to more families in our community.

🎃 Edge of Glory Farms – Thank you for donating over 100 pumpkins! You helped bring so much fall fun and creativity to our celebration!

🍕 La Roma Pizzeria in Rome – Thank you for generously providing food and making sure our guests were fed! Your kindness helped keep the festivities going!

🍬 Our United Way Board Members – You understood the assignment! Thanks to your incredible candy donations, our guests went home with bags FULL of Halloween treats!

👻 OUR AMAZING VOLUNTEERS! – Where do we even begin?! From the incredible crew upstairs who spent HOURS transforming our haunted house into a truly terrifying experience (and scaring the daylights out of everyone! 😂), to our hardworking volunteers downstairs managing activities, welcoming families, serving food, and keeping everything running smoothly — YOU were the heart of this event! Your creativity, enthusiasm, and dedication went above and beyond anything we could have imagined.

💙 Basic hygiene shouldn’t be a luxury.

A toothbrush. A bar of soap. Deodorant. Shampoo. Feminine hygiene products. Diapers.

They’re everyday items many of us rarely think twice about—but for someone struggling to make ends meet, purchasing even the most basic personal care products can mean sacrificing something else their family needs.

We can change that together.

United Way of the Mohawk Valley’s Hygiene Drive is collecting essential products for individuals and families throughout our community, and we need your help filling the shelves.

The people who work in our communities every day often see the gaps firsthand. That’s why United Way of the Mohawk Valley is bringing organizations and professionals together through our Community Gap Map Series.

We want to hear from those working across healthcare, education, nonprofits, government, housing, transportation, human services, public safety, and other sectors throughout the Mohawk Valley.

Your experience can help us better understand where barriers exist, where resources are available, and where opportunities for collaboration could make a difference.

Whether our community is facing severe weather, flooding, a fire, prolonged power outages, or another emergency, 211 helps connect people with local resources and support when they need it most.

But disaster resilience isn't only about responding after an emergency. It’s also about being prepared, knowing what resources are available, and making sure our neighbors know where they can find help.
