“Don’t end your story; Just rewrite it.” 💜
Our first ever You’re Not Alone event is officially in the books ; 💙

This event was founded by Tiffany Oliver, our Community Resource Assistant and founder of the Bridge the Gap programs. For Tiffany, it is incredibly meaningful to turn personal struggles into experiences that can bring positive change to others. So, we gathered with local health resources and services, like Helio Health, STAR Mobile Crisis Program, Life Center for Family and Recovery, and the Utica Police Department to play carnival games, eat food from Utica BBQ, and spread joy, knowledge, and connection.

Tasha MacMillan says, You’re Not Alone is a suicide-awareness event intended to remind members of our community that they are not alone and to connect them with vital resources and support.

Thank you to our People First staff, Bank of Utica, GPO Federal Credit Union and all who showed up and made this event possible! We hope it’s just the first of many.
