Human Technologies and Madison-Oneida BOCES share a commitment to preparing the next generation of workers for success. As part of that partnership, we were proud to recognize two exceptional students from the Vocational Technical Preparation (VTP) program, Jah’meir Richardson and Emma Kimball, whose hard work, leadership, and dedication have helped them stand out among their peers.

Through their professionalism, determination, and commitment to learning, both students have demonstrated what can happen when talent is matched with opportunity. As they prepare to enter the workforce, they represent the next generation of skilled, motivated workers ready to make an impact.

Through our partnership with Madison-Oneida BOCES, we’re helping support the next generation of workers as they prepare to transition from the classroom to meaningful employment. Together, we’re creating opportunities for students to build confidence, develop workplace skills, and take the next step toward a successful future.

National Disability Employment Awareness Month is an opportunity to celebrate the talents, contributions, and achievements of people with disabilities, not just for one month, but every day.

As we look ahead to NDEAM 2026, we’re excited to continue sharing stories that highlight the power of inclusive employment, meaningful work, and the incredible people who bring our mission to life.

Together, we’ll continue proving that when people are given opportunities to succeed, everyone benefits.

The U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy has announced the 2026 National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) theme: “Celebrating Value and Talent.”

Observed each October, NDEAM recognizes the skills, achievements, and contributions of people with disabilities in workplaces, communities, and our economy. This year’s theme carries forward the spirit of previous celebrations while honoring America’s 250th birthday and highlighting the important role workers with disabilities have played—and continue to play—in shaping our nation.

At NYSID, we are proud to celebrate the talent, dedication, and meaningful contributions of people with disabilities every day by advancing inclusive employment opportunities across New York State. Stay tuned to our social media channels to see how we celebrate NDEAM this October!

As part of a NYSID, Purchasing That Powers Employment contract with the NYS Department of Corrections and Community Supervision, HT supports statewide boot preparation and distribution operations for facilities across New York.

Our team plays an important role in preparing and processing these boots through inspection, hole punching, stocking, and shipping operations. At full capacity, our operators can process up to 900 boots a day.

But more importantly, programs like this help create meaningful employment opportunities where individuals can build skills, gain experience, and take pride in the work they do every day.

At HT, we believe meaningful work creates meaningful impact.
