This is why we rally!

Because home is more than four walls, it’s stability, opportunity, and a place to belong.

Every serve, every sponsor, every person who showed up is how we keep families housed and having access to quality resident services.

We rallied.
We showed up for families.
We crowned a few champions.

See you next year!

Eric's journey is a powerful reminder of what's possible when people have stable housing, support, and opportunity.

What began as finding a safe place to call home at Mercy Housing Lakefront became the foundation for personal growth, meaningful connections, and a renewed sense of purpose. Today, Eric is paying that support forward by leading a weekly recovery group and helping others find hope and encouragement on their own journeys.

Watch this special teaser of Eric's inspiring story, then join us at Moving Forward Together to see the full video premiere and hear how Mercy Housing residents are building brighter futures every day. Get your tickets today! https://bit.ly/3SmjbZh

Join us for an inspiring evening as we honor Illinois State Senator Mike Simmons with the Inspiring Hope Award, recognizing an individual who has overcome adversity and inspires hope in others.

Rooted in the Illinois 7th Senate District, Senator Simmons' story reflects resilience, perseverance, and a deep commitment to community. From his family's journey as one of the first Black families to integrate Lincoln Square to his leadership in public service today, he has been a powerful advocate for equity and opportunity.

Senator Simmons has been instrumental in supporting the preservation of Leland Apartments, helping pave the way for Mercy Housing Lakefront to assume ownership and protect permanent supportive housing for residents at risk of displacement.

We hope you'll join us as we celebrate Senator Simmons' remarkable leadership, his commitment to the communities he serves, and the hope he brings to others every day.

What does supportive housing make possible?

For residents at The Kelsey Civic Center, it means a home designed for belonging. This affordable, accessible community was built to support people of all abilities and includes onsite services and community-building opportunities that help residents thrive.

Resident Rory (photo center) says living there gives him "the option to explore new possibilities." He enjoys being close to transit, building friendships, and living in a community where people with and without disabilities can get to know one another.

This Permanent Supportive Housing Week, we're thankful for our partnership with CSH and our shared commitment to creating communities that foster stability, connection, and opportunity.
