Ronald McDonald House Charities Bay Area provides critically ill children with communities of support, access to medical care, and the healing power of family and home during medical crises. Each year, RMHC Bay Area provides thousands of families with overnight housing, meal support, and specialized family services through our Ronald McDonald Houses and hospital-based service sites. Essential support services help families cope with the financial and emotional burdens of their children's hospitalizations and provide access to lifesaving pediatric care at our partner hospitals, Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals in San Francisco and Oakland.

Grayson was born early at 33 weeks and needed immediate surgery and specialized care. For nearly a month while Grayson was in the NICU, his parents, Paige and Jordan, stayed just steps away at Ronald McDonald House Louisville

"Being at Ronald McDonald House allowed us to be with Grayson in the NICU as much as possible," Paige says. "It was the biggest blessing to us on our journey."

Once a Ronald McDonald House Family, always a Ronald McDonald House Family. ❤️

While Harlow and Hadley were in the NICU, the Rardon family found comfort and support at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mid-Missouri. Now, the twins have made it a tradition to give back by volunteering at the House each year, even spending part of their birthday this year packing lunches and preparing a meal for families staying at the House.

😎💦☀️ What better way to wrap up Summer Camp than with a little water fun?! Our patients and siblings enjoyed a day of outdoor play, laughter, creativity, and, of course, a little slip-n-slide fun in Brad's Park!

Patients and siblings spent the summer creating, exploring, playing, and, most importantly, making memories together. From unique arts and crafts to outdoor adventures, every day brought something new to discover!

These special moments were made possible because of the incredible generosity of our donors and the continued support of the community.

From our Houses in Stanford, Oakland and San Francisco in-hospital programs, families had the opportunity to choose the supplies their children needed most. For families caring for a critically ill child, preparing for a new school year can come with extra challenges. Your support helps make one part of that transition a little easier.

This year marked an incredible milestone for Ronald McDonald House Oakland.

With the expansion from 7 to 21 guest rooms, we are now able to welcome and support three times as many families whose children are receiving lifesaving medical care at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland.

In addition to providing overnight accommodations, Ronald McDonald House Oakland continues to serve both overnight guests and day pass families, ensuring more parents and caregivers have a comforting place to rest, recharge, and remain close to their child during treatment.

As our House grows, so does our ability to fulfill our mission to provide essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families, and promote healing when children need healthcare.
