Africa To Silicon Valley

Africa To Silicon Valley Changing the future of Africa with technology. Bridging the gap between African talent and big tech.

đź’» Months of hard work led to this moment.

Our students from Adventist University of Central Africa - AUCA recently completed the first round of project demonstrations, presenting the web applications they built for Simba Supermarket.

Each student worked on the project independently, taking it from an idea to planning and development to the final presentation. During the demo, they presented their work to a panel of A2SV alumni judges, explained the technical decisions they made, and answered questions about their product.

The presentations also served as the first stage of the evaluation process. Students who were selected will move on to the second round, where they'll continue refining their projects before presenting them again.

One of the best parts of the day was seeing how much the students had grown. A few months ago, many of them were just getting started. Now they're building complete solutions, presenting them with confidence, and handling feedback from experienced engineers.

We're proud of what they've accomplished so far, and we're looking forward to seeing what they'll bring to the next round.

A lot of people think learning software engineering right now means just grinding out lines of code. But the reality is changing fast.

Right now, our Adventist University of Central Africa students in the A2SV program are focusing heavily on mastering AI tools. Instead of getting stuck on repetitive syntax, they’re learning how to use AI to build, test, and ship projects much faster.

The real work for them isn't just typing out code anymore, it’s sharpening their logic, understanding system fundamentals, and learning how to actually solve problems using these tools effectively.

They're learning to work smarter and build faster. Exciting times ahead for this cohort. đź’»

We were thrilled to welcome the curious young minds of Africa from Nu Vision High School to our headquarters.

Students explored our tech education program, which equip young Africans with top-level tech skills, access to global opportunities, and the drive to give back to their communities.

They were also introduced to our digital products, especially SkillBridge, a platform that helps high school students take control of their exam preparation with structured lessons, practice exercises, and guided learning.

It was inspiring to see their curiosity, engagement, and excitement while interacting with our team. Thank you, Nu Vision High School, for visiting A2SV HQ.

A new milestone for our G7 Remote Education students 🚀

They have successfully completed their Onboarding Phase and are now moving into the First Education Phase of their A2SV journey.

The onboarding phase helped students understand the program, adapt, and prepare for the challenges ahead. Now they are ready to apply their knowledge, dive deeper into problem-solving, data structures, algorithms, and communication skills.

At A2SV, every cohort progresses through structured phases designed to nurture world-class talent and create global impact. 🌍✨
G7 Remote Education students, comment below and share your onboarding experience, what you learned, what excited you, and what you’re most looking forward to next.
