Harvest House is honored to share that the William G. and Marie Selby Foundation has awarded a $105,000 grant to support our disaster response efforts.

This investment will fund the purchase of two generators for our resilience hubs, ensuring we can continue serving families during hurricanes and other emergencies. With reliable power, our food bank can remain operational, our team can stay on the ground, and our community can count on us when it matters most.

We’re deeply grateful for this partnership and the trust it represents.

To every survivor: your courage matters, your story matters, and you are not alone.

For individuals and families experiencing housing instability, safety is more than a basic need; it is the first step toward healing, recovery, and long-term stability.

This National Safety Month, we’re reminded that safe housing, supportive services, and a caring community can help people begin again with dignity.

We were honored to be part of the Step Into the Light Mental Health Summit at Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium . 💙

Our team had the opportunity to connect with community members, partners, and fellow advocates who are all working toward the same goal, breaking stigma, and expanding access to mental health care. Through our Wellness Within Reach program, we are proud to share how Harvest House is providing trauma-informed, accessible mental health services to individuals and families across Sarasota and Manatee counties.

From meaningful conversations at our booth to powerful speaker sessions throughout the day, this summit was a reminder that when a community comes together, real change happens.

A special thank you to the organizers, sponsors, and everyone who made this impactful day possible. We’re grateful to stand alongside so many passionate partners in this work.

✨ Together, we are building a stronger, healthier, more resilient community.

For Mental Health Awareness Month, we’ve shared honest reflections on the power of therapy.

At Harvest House Centers, counseling and mental health support are part of helping people heal with dignity, hope, and compassion. Therapy can make a lasting difference in recovery, family stability, and emotional wellness.

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Jekeyma Robinson as Harvest House’s Vice President of Community Engagement & Education.

Dr. Robinson brings a powerful combination of academic expertise, leadership experience, and community-centered care to this role. With a PhD in leadership and education, along with experience as Associate Dean of Students and Deputy Title IX Coordinator at Ringling College of Art and Design, he has spent years strengthening systems of support, education, engagement, and personal development.

At Harvest House, his leadership will help strengthen our model of care by advancing education-based programming, evidence-based classes, curriculum development, and client learning opportunities across our programs.

For our donors, foundations, and community partners, this is an exciting step forward. Dr. Robinson’s expertise will help us continue building thoughtful, measurable, and effective pathways that support long-term stability, healing, and success for the individuals and families we serve.

We are grateful to welcome Dr. Robinson into this role and excited for the ways his leadership will help shape the future of Harvest House.
