We are honored to welcome back Dr. Wayne "Coach" Gordon as our featured speaker. As the founding pastor of Chicago’s Lawndale Community Church and co-leader of the Christian Community Development Association for 25 years with the late Dr. John Perkins, Coach Gordon brings a powerful message of community restoration. He first spoke at our banquet in 2014, and we are blessed to welcome him back.

💙 A HEARTFELT THANK YOU TO MABREY BANK! 💚

This morning at Convocation, we were incredibly blessed to welcome Caitlyn Lierly, Commercial Lending Officer and SVP with Mabrey Bank, as she presented Crossover Preparatory Academy with a generous donation on behalf of Mabrey Bank .

Our Boys Middle School President, Jordan Chancey, accepted the gift on behalf of Crossover. What a special moment to have one of our young leaders represent our school and receive a gift that will directly impact him and his peers.

Gifts like this mean so much more than dollars and cents. They represent a belief in our students, a belief in what is possible, and a commitment to making sure that high-quality education remains accessible and affordable for every family we serve.

We are deeply grateful for partners like Mabrey Bank who don’t just support Crossover; they invest in our students, our families, and the future of North Tulsa. Your generosity helps us continue creating opportunities, pursuing excellence, and building something truly special.

⛳️🏌🏿‍♂️ FORE THE COMMUNITY! 🏌🏿‍♀️⛳️

Last week, golfers hit the links at LaFortune Park Golf Course for the 27th Annual Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC Golf Tournament benefiting Crossover Community Impact, for an incredible morning of friendly competition, great shots, and a whole lot of fun!

And this year was extra special for us, for the first time ever, Crossover fielded our very own team in the tournament! 🎉⛳️

And we have to give a HUGE shoutout to Sam Rader for making this entire event possible! 🙌🏿 From bringing everyone together to helping turn a day on the golf course into an opportunity to invest in North Tulsa, Sam's generosity and commitment made this morning happen. We are incredibly grateful!

With perfect golf weather on our side, golfers chased birdies, battled the sand traps, did their best to stay out of the rough, and worked their way toward that coveted low team score. And of course, there was plenty more on the line with competitions for Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin and other prizes! 🏆⛳️

But here's what made this tournament especially meaningful to us: money raised from the tournament benefited Crossover Community Impact, our organization of change. ❤️

We love North Tulsa. We believe in the people who call it home, and we believe in the potential of this community. And we're already seeing that belief take shape, neighbors investing in neighbors, residents stepping up for one another, and North Tulsa's own people putting their time and pride into building this community up from the inside. Our desire is to meet the real needs of our neighbors in ways that help our community become restored, renewed, and whole.

Because when a community is strengthened, people take pride in where they live. And when people take pride in their community, they become inspired to invest in it, build it up, and help make it better for everyone.

Are you a North Tulsa high school student or recent graduate ready to inspire local youth, build your resume, and earn competitive pay? We’re hiring StreetLeaders for the 2026–2027 program year!

💡 What You’ll Do:
Serve as a role model while gaining valuable experience in leadership training, mentorship, educational support, life-skills development, and spiritual growth.

📋 Position Details & Requirements:

Pay: Starting at $11.36/hour

Hours: Mon–Thurs, 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Work early starting at 2:30 PM if your school offers internships!)

Eligibility: North Tulsa high school student or recent graduate with a 2.0+ GPA

🌱 COMMUNITY IS STRONGER WHEN WE COME TOGETHER. 🤝🏿

This past Saturday, we had the privilege of gathering with incredible community partners at Seeds of Hope on Guthrie Green, connecting with organizations and individuals who are on the ground every day, serving our unhoused and underserved neighbors.

These moments matter.

When we connect, collaborate, share resources, and put support directly into the hands of people who need it, we strengthen more than individuals; we strengthen our entire community. 💪🏿❤️

We’re grateful for every organization, volunteer, and community champion who continues to show up, serve, and make a tangible difference right here in Tulsa.

And a special THANK YOU to the 11th-grade students of Riverfield Country Day School for hosting such an incredible event and creating a space for so many community partners to connect, learn from one another, and work toward a stronger Tulsa.

Crossover Ballet is officially underway, and we’d love to welcome more young dancers to the floor! Our community-based classical ballet program is open to dancers ages 3 and up and is all about building discipline, confidence, creativity, and a love for dance. ❤️
