Last week, our residents and Mrs. Kim headed out for a beautiful summer day trip through Northeast Oklahoma!

They started the day exploring the historic Saline Courthouse Museum, walking the grounds and learning about local history. Afterward, they made their way over to Lake Hudson to take in the water views and enjoyed a wonderful lunch together at a cottage restaurant.

Getting off campus to explore nature, historical landmarks, and new places is a peaceful, essential part of the healing and restoration process for our residents.

Happy Birthday to our CEO, Kristin Weis. 🎂

Kristin rarely works less than 80 hours a week. She shows up for survivors, for her team, for community partners, and for anyone who will listen to why this work matters. She does it not because it's easy, but because she genuinely loves helping people!

The Demand Project exists because Kristin and Jason refused to look the other way 22 years ago. And now every survivor who walks through our doors gets the opportunity to heal because someone like her decided to show up every single day.

🚨WEEKLY PREDATOR WATCH🚨

These cases show the justice system delivering serious consequences for those who prey on children. Thanks to survivors, investigators, and task forces, more predators are being removed from our communities.

This isn't quite in line with our usual Friday Demand Project posts, but we wanted to take a moment to recognize that today marks four years since Hannah Weis tragically passed away.

Hannah was the daughter of our two co founders Jason and Kristin Weis, and we just wanted to pause and recognize them, and the amazing community that consistently supports them, as well as remember the life of Hannah Grace.

She was so loved, and she is missed every day. 🦋🌼

Four arrests. Four victims recovered. Right here in Broken Arrow.

On May 27th and 28th, agents with the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics Human Trafficking Unit and the Broken Arrow Police Department conducted a two-day operation targeting human trafficking. Victims recovered on day one were immediately connected to emergency shelter, counseling, and medical assistance. Day two focused on the buyers.

Oklahoma is not a safe place to traffic people, and operations like this are why.

A typical pe*****le will commit 117 sexual crimes in a lifetime. Four arrests are not just four cases closed. They are potentially hundreds of future victims who will never become victims at all.
