✨ Some nights stay with you long after the final note
Mahler’s Symphony No. 2, “Resurrection” was a breathtaking way to close the season. The scale, the sound, and the emotion made it a night we will not soon forget. We are so grateful to the many musicians and vocalists who came together to make this performance possible.
To James Bagwell, our conductor; Jana McIntyre, soprano; Teresa Buchholz , mezzo-soprano; the Tulsa Chorale under the direction of Zachary Malavolti, artistic director; and the members of the Tulsa Symphony Orchestra, thank you for your artistry and dedication. We are also especially thankful to the student group, Valenor Strings from Union Public Schools - Tulsa, OK for their pre-concert performance, which helped set the tone for the evening.
To our audience, thank you for sharing this moment with us. Your presence is what makes nights like this so meaningful. đź’š
