To wrap up our Survivor Scramble Sponsor shout outs we have our PRESENTING SPONSOR 🌟

For the second year in a row, The Alexandar David Burnstein Memorial Fund for Musical Performance has stepped up to the tee and hit a hole in one as our Presenting Sponsor 🏌🏻

We cannot thank Mark Burnstein enough for supporting our mission through the memory of his beloved son, Alex. We will continue to cut chains and change lives in his name ⛓️‍💥💚🙌🏻

Our Survivor Scramble is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year and we couldn’t do what we do without the generosity of all of our sponsors, golfers, donors, and volunteers!

We cannot wait to share pics of the day with you all…shenanigans were HAD in the name of ending dogfighting and canine cruelty (in true Bark Nation fashion). Stay tuned for more highlights!

On Monday, we had the honor of hosting the incredible independent.bank crew for their volunteer day 🙌🏻

The team rolled up their sleeves and accomplished so many projects such as making enrichment and meals, sorting donations, putting together crates, and even doing some landscaping…we are so grateful!

They also received a tour of our shelter, met our resilient survivors, and asked thoughtful questions about our mission.

Not only did they come to volunteer…they came to donate much needed supplies and a very generous financial contribution. We honestly cannot thank you enough!

We are so grateful that you have chosen to partner with us for the third year in a row…and we hope to see you beautiful humans again next year 🙌🏻

🛒 Shopping Amazon Prime Days? Add something for a survivor!

At Bark Nation’s Pitness Protection shelter, all types of supplies are always in need!

Garbage bags, Paper towels, Enrichment items, Peanut Butter, the list goes on and on.

While you’re filling your cart, take a look at our Amazon wishlist. A gift shipped straight to our shelter means one less supply to purchase and more resources for the survivors counting on us.

Thank you for helping us push forward in our mission and always thinking of the survivors in our care.

*Triumphant 20 update*

It’s been a little while since we shared updates from the home!

A few weeks ago we were looking for homes for our last 2 friends, Blondie and Elvis.
We hoped neither of them would have to be left in the shelter by themselves, and lo and behold, the stars aligned and Blondie and Elvis had interests 🥲

We packed up their sleepover bags, gave them baths, clipped their nails, cleaned their ears 🤣 The whole thing! Auntie Teddi sent a goodie bag along with Elvis filled with his favorite treats and lots of toys.

And just like that, Blondie and Elvis went to their separate fosters that week and we have been getting a bunch of awesome updates!

Blondie seemed to catch on to being a house dog real quick. She watched her brother do something, and then she did too! Monkey see, Monkey do! And this weekend Elvis met his two huskie siblings he’s been getting used to through baby gate.

Enjoy some peeks into their last 2 weeks.

Wednesday was another amazing day of Fixing the Future! 🥹✨

Our friends at The KG Foundation spent the day loving on 8 incredible survivors…giving them a little extra love, a little extra care, and one very important step toward a brighter future. Because these sweet faces deserve so much more than the life they were given. 🐾

✂️ 8 more lives altered.
💚 8 more futures changed.
👊🏻 8 more reasons to keep going.

Thank you to our friends at The KG Foundation and Union Lake Animal Hospital!
