In preparing tomorrow’s leaders today, the D-Rob Cares Foundation proudly partnered with the DPD Law Enforcement Explorers and The Youth Connection program to host mock interviews for the incredible youth participants.

From a firm handshake to confident eye contact, to answering questions with clarity to showcasing their strengths, our young leaders practiced essential interview readiness skills that will help them stand out in the real world.

These sessions focused on:
✅ Professional communication – speaking with clarity and confidence.
✅ Body language – making a strong first impression.
✅ Resume storytelling – highlighting skills and accomplishments.
✅ Critical thinking – answering questions thoughtfully and authentically.

We’re so proud of their progress and dedication. 💙

For every donation of $30 or more made during the month of June, supporters will receive a gift of a limited edition D-Rob Cares Foundation Breaking Barriers and Building Futures Juneteenth t-shirt. As a recent winner 🏆 of the Diversified Members Credit Union Charity Madness Event, the D-Rob Cares Foundation filmed a special charity segment with WXYZ-TV Channel 7.

The special will air in July. We are so excited to continue our mission of supporting the youth in being all that they can be!

🐟 We all had a blast at Reel Wellness Youth Fishing Day despite the weather ☁️🌧️. We'd like the thank Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network , Michigan Dnr , Donavan McKinney , Sam's Club , Molina Healthcare , Jalal Al-uqdah , MaGurt Robinson , our volunteers, and especially our youth super stars for making this day a success. We touched on conservation, mental wellness, safety 🛟 and what it takes to be successful at fishing. First timers....... 🤔 we can't tell, because they were all amazing!!!! 🎣
