Tomorrow is the big day!

We are so grateful for everyone who will be there supporting us, and everyone who has continued to support us through our conservation journey we can’t thank you enough. We couldn’t do it without your continued support. Our conservation efforts wouldn’t be possible without our volunteers and donations. From the bottom of our hearts, we want to say thank you!

Who’s going to win the best trophy for the mantle this year?🏆

We are super excited for this upcoming weekend June 6th, 4pm-9pm

The legendary fly casting competition as well as other games with prizes will be available throughout the night and of course the boat drawing!

Come and hang out with us to support and celebrate a great cause, enjoy some great food, great conversation, and a little education on the conservation projects we are all supporting as well!

Price is $30 at the door no ticket needed!

PMTU will be holding the 2026 drift boat raffle starting May 16th!

Tickets will be available to purchase here on Facebook and through our website!

The event will be held May 16th and will go until June 6th or until sold out!

Winner will be drawn on Facebook live as well as being held live at our annual banquet on June 6th at 1884 fly shop in Baldwin and the winner will be drawn by Steve Kaiser himself!

500 tickets available for purchase

Tickets will be $50 per ticket

We would like to take a second to highlight Steve Kaiser! Steve was the winner of last year’s drift boat raffle. Steve was extremely generous and donated the drift boat back to PMTU. This year all the money that is raised is going to be put towards a thermal imaging project that was done on the PM this winter! Results are still being processed and are coming soon. Huge round of applause and thank you again Steve for your generosity and stay after those PM Stealhead!

Little South Branch Update!

A couple of our board members attend the meeting regarding the rehabilitation of a few target areas on the Little South Branch here in January.

The main purpose of this ongoing project is habitat improvement. The goal is to increase spawning habitat, reduce the volume and rate of excess sediment, support micro-invertebrates, provide refuge during floods, and increase overall resting habitat for all fish.

So far the CRA has helped improve about 5 miles of river including 7 erosion sites. The goal being to treat the entire length of the Little South Branch.

As proud sponsors PMTU would like to thank all the landowners allowing work or access to be done on their land, all the other individuals, sponsors, CRA, and volunteers just to name a few that have helped make this project come together.

Below is a video of young fry using these structures not long after they were introduced! We will keep you updated about progress as well as volunteer opportunities as they come up! Thank you again everyone!

PMTU members joined forces with Conservation Resource Alliance this weekend to plant trees on the Pere Marquette River. Thank you to the Forest Service for donating the trees and to all of the volunteers!
