Hi, I'm Dahlia Rose, a 3-year-old, 56lb Labrador mix with a huge heart and an even bigger personality!
If you're looking for a loving, affectionate best friend who wants to be part of everything you do, I might just be your girl. My foster family says I'm full of enthusiasm, cuddles, and charm. I even earned the nickname 'Dahlia Roo' because of my adorable kangaroo jumps when I get excited!

I love toys, especially squeaky balls and stuffy toys, and I'm happiest when I'm included in everyday life. Whether it's walks, car rides with my nose out the window, playing fetch, or curling up on the couch, I just want to be near my humans and soak up all the affection I can get.

I'm an active girl who gets excited exploring the world, so I can still zig-zag and pull a bit on walks, but I respond well to redirection and continue improving. I may notice other dogs in the neighborhood, but a simple 'no' helps me refocus and happily continue on my walk. I have playful bursts of energy, especially in the mornings and around dinnertime, and a good game of fetch is one of my favorite ways to burn energy. After playtime, I settle down nicely and love cuddling beside you.

I'm food motivated, eager to please, and already know commands like 'sit,' 'stay,' 'wait,' and 'no.' I'm also working on building confidence when left home alone for short periods. I'm not destructive, but I may bark or pace a little while waiting for you to come home. With patience and continued training, I know I'll keep improving.

I do well with kids, other dogs, cats, and busy households with visitors. I could thrive as the only dog soaking up all the attention or with another dog companion.

More than anything, I'm looking for a family that will include me in their adventures, play fetch with me, take me on walks, and save me a cozy spot on the couch. I have so much love to give and can't wait to find my forever family.

Meet Princess Peach, a beautiful 3 yr old female at 57 lb.
Princess Peach is a petite little firecracker with a huge personality and an even bigger heart. She's spunky, playful, and full of puppy-like energy. When she's excited to see her people, she REALLY lets you know - expect happy jumps, kisses, and lots of enthusiasm. She absolutely adores human attention and loves hard.

Once she gets her wiggles out (usually just a few minutes), she settles into being the sweetest companion. She loves following her people around the house and always wants to be part of whatever you're doing. At nap time, she's happiest curled up beside you on the floor or sneaking onto the couch for cuddles if she thinks she can get away with it.

Princess Peach is potty trained and crate trained. She may whine a little in her crate at first, but it's only because she wants reassurance that her people are still nearby. She's very people-oriented and bonds deeply with her humans. She is still working on leash manners and commands, but she's improving every day. When she gets overly excited, she can sometimes jump and do little playful 'pinches' with her mouth while walking or during cuddle time. It's not aggression - just excitement and overstimulation - and she continues to learn better ways to express herself.

With other dogs, Princess Peach does best with respectful personalities. She isn't interested in being dominant, but she also has enough confidence that she won't simply shrink away in new situations. She would likely do well with a balanced canine companion or as the spoiled princess of a solo-dog home where she can soak up all the attention herself.

Princess Peach would make an amazing companion for someone who wants a loyal little shadow with lots of personality, affection, and sass. She's still learning, still growing, and every single day she becomes a better girl than the day before.

Hi!! I'm Stuart! I was found wandering in the desert scared, skinny and thirsty. A Good Samaritan coaxed me into her yard and the rest is history!! I am a happy, 11 month old neutered lab mix! I get along great with other dogs, big and small. I live with a dog-savvy kitty, so I give her plenty of space! I also live with a 3-year-old lab, plus two grouchy seniors who have made it very clear they weren't interested in my puppy antics, so I leave them alone too! But my foster brother and I have a blast playing and running around together! I would definitely benefit from a sibling to show me the ropes!
I love my people! I am very cuddly and gentle and I love to go wherever you go. But I'm also comfortable and calm while you're gone. I love sleeping on my dog bed in your room, by your feet (or couch if you let me), while you're watching TV. When you're ready to sip a coffee or wind down for the evening, I'll place my head on your leg for scratches and pets.
I am crate trained, leash trained, potty/dog door trained and respectful in the house. My foster mom says I am super smart and am learning new tricks every day! Ask me to sit pretty!
I love going on car rides. Leave the door open too long and I'll hop in invited or not!
My foster mom says I am a very good house dog. I will play in the house, but if you ask me to stop I will. I am not destructive, but I am a grand champion counter surfer!
I like to bark when I think there is neighborhood nonsense you should know about or when you have new people come over. I can get overwhelmed with lots of new people all at once and I'll stick to you for comfort and relax a little when you tell me it's ok. I'm getting more confident every day!
We went to a dog park and at first I was a little overwhelmed. But after a few minutes, I was the life of the party! My foster mom loved how I kept coming over to her and checking in. I've also been to an outdoor mall, a pet fair, and a couple stores. I want to be brave, but sometimes I get a little nervous and I will lean into you for support...your gentle reassurance helps me a lot!
My recall is about 80%, and I tend to 'puppy' sometimes, but I do want to come to you and I get super excited when you lavish me with praise! Oh! And I am very treat motivated!
I am just a really good boy who wants a loving family that will include me in their lives. I get so happy when the leash comes out!
If you think I'm the goodest boy for you, hit me up!! Love, Stuart

Hi, I'm Boy Roy, a lively 3-year-old yellow lab tipping the scales at 82 lbs. I had a pretty nasty wound when I came into SCLRR. I'm all healed up now and loving my life with my foster family.
I'm a little shy with new dogs at first, but once I know they are not going to hurt me I love to play tug-o-war, keep away, fetch and even rough house. I love playing with my foster brother and relaxing with my foster cat sister. I'm still unsure of the tortoise, but am never mean to him. I am turning into a snuggle bug and cuddles with my foster mom are the best. I'm working on walking with a leash, but prefer to not have one on. I sit nicely and catch treats like a pro. I'm working on stay and down and some one-on-one training would be beneficial. I'm told I'm a beautiful boy and I am looking for a best friend and forever family to love.

I would love to have a family where someone is home most of the day. With another furry brother or sister would be a bonus.

If you are interested in giving me an awesome home, please contact your family rep asap.
