Mark your calendars! SCLRR will be participating again this year in Race For The Rescues!!

Location: Rose Bowl, 1001 Rose Bowl Dr, Pasadena
When: Saturday 10/10 7 AM - 10:30 (come for as much time as you like)
Parking and expo are free. If you want to join our team and walk or run the 5K, there is a small fee to participate but you get a cool tshirt (from the race). Race starts at 8:30

Meet This Handsome Lovebug Kobe Ray!
This handsome 5-year-old black Lab weighs 78 pounds and is basically a big, lovable teddy bear with four legs. He's mellow, friendly, and has a sweet, easygoing personality that makes him wonderful to have around.
He's great with both dogs and cats and enjoys being part of the family. But there's one thing that makes him extra special - he's a true Velcro dog! Once he bonds with his person, he really bonds. He loves being close, following his favorite human around, and keeping an eye on what they're up to. While he may choose one person as his person, he is friendly and affectionate with the whole family.
And be prepared for a little conversation! He is very verbal and loves to talk. Whether he's saying hello, letting you know what he thinks, or simply joining in on the conversation, he has plenty to say. His expressive personality makes him even more lovable.
He loves going for car rides and is happiest when he gets to tag along with his people. He's the kind of dog who wants to be wherever you are - whether that means running errands, relaxing at home, or heading out for a walk. He's great on walks and walks nicely on a leash, making him an easy and enjoyable companion for getting out and about.
He's not looking to be the life of the party. He's much happier being your loyal sidekick, soaking up some love, and hanging out wherever his people are. At 78 pounds, he may be a big boy, but he has an even bigger heart.
If you're looking for a gentle, loyal companion who will happily be your shadow, ride sh***un on car adventures, keep you entertained with his 'conversations', and love you with his whole heart, this sweet guy might just be your perfect match.

Pupdate on Mr. Pibb from his foster Mom:

"Another check up at the vet for Mr Pibb! His hair continues to grow and he’s up to 90 lbs now! He had an ear infection that was treated and is all better now…he is still a very good boy…he’s an old soul kinda guy."
