Last month, the Masons of California joined forces with the California Energy, Power, and Innovation Collaborative (Cal EPIC) and Sacramento City Unified School District to launch the Pathways program—a new initiative aimed at preparing students from six of Sacramento’s high schools for in-demand careers in clean energy and transportation technologies.

Through this groundbreaking partnership, students will gain hands-on training, earn career certifications, and experience real-world learning in areas like generation, charging, and workplace safety. As Cal EPIC CEO Orville Thomas said, “We’re not just building career pathways—we’re building futures.”

I hope you and your family are well. As you all are aware, destructive wildfires have spread throughout the Los Angeles area and some of our brothers have been greatly impacted.

If the lively hood of you and your family have been affected, please contact me immediately. There are resources available for you.

If you live outside of the Los Angeles area and are not impacted, please keep those affected in your thoughts and prayers during this challenge time. If you are able to make a donation, please contact me as well. Those will be made available to our members and their families.
