Today we served 318 plates of food to people of the community of Inharime. This community was formed after the massive flooding from hurricane Idai in 2019. Most of the families have had to restart their lives here. The church here began about two years ago and is doing very well!

Water for Mozambique (https://lifeformoz.com/how-we-serve/water-for-mozambique/) and Life for Mozambique recently installed a clean water well in the community of Nhangulo! I had the privilege of visiting this village in 2014. Alex Viana, Melanie Viana, Jones Joao, Maria Jone, and Antonio Boisse Quipa also went to the community of Ceramica and fed 220 children! This village is also the site of our next water well installation. We are $1,700 shy of funding this project. That's five people giving $360 or five people giving $30 for 12 months. Karla Seidner, Jennifer Raby, and I will be visiting both of these communities in August and we'll be able to drink from the well along with our Mozambican brothers and sisters.

Today is World Water Day! 700 million people (that's twice the population of the USA) don't have access to clean water. In Mozambique that number is about 14 million people. 55 children die every day from water-related illnesses in Moz. Life for Mozambique will be installing two clean water wells this year. We are also raising funds for six more wells to be installed next year. 30 people giving $360 dollars will cover the cost of a well. That's $30 per month for 12 months. One of the communities is called Ceramica. By God's grace this well is 50 percent funded. We are looking for 14 more friends to help build this well. For $1 a day you can bring water to children like the boy in picture below. He is a real live Mozambican child. It's unknown where this boy lives, but it just might be Ceramica. Here's a link for donating to the Ceramica well. Any amount helps. You can also set up a recurring payment for $30, which we can cancel after 12 months. https://lifeformoz.com/donations/ceramica-water-well/
Thank you!! God bless.
