This Sunday is the first Sunday of the month 10-4-26. We will have free train rides available starting at 11:00am and ending at 3:00pm.

Free train rides tomorrow 9-19-26, starting at 12:00pm and running till 3:00pm

Because of the current rain there will be no public train rides today. The next public train rides will be on Saturday September 19th starting at 12:00pm and running till 3:00pm wether permitting.

Free train rides tomorrow Sunday September 6th
Whether permitting starting at 11:00 am and running till 3:00pm. If it’s raining or has rained we may delay the start time. If it’s safe to give rides we will but the weather will determine that. Please understand our trains are not similar to automobiles. When the rails are wet it’s very difficult for the trains to start or stop with a train loaded with riders. The wet ground around the tracks can become soft and may cause the tracks to move that may cause the cars to derail. We enjoy giving train rides but we will only do that when the conditions are safe to do so.

Free train rides tomorrow Saturday 6-20-26, starting at 12:00pm and running till to 3:00 pm. Riders must be able to walk unassisted and be at least 32 inches tall. To celebrate Father’s Day get your favorite dad a SCLS T-shirt. They’re free for a donation of $ 15.00 or more at the souvenir stand. Multiple colors and sizes while they last. Get on the right track, come on out for a free train ride this Sunday 11:00 Am to 3:00 pm, address is 2290 Washington Ave Torrance,ca. The train station is located in the back on Wilson. We welcome riders of all ages over 32” tall and able to walk unassisted.

Free train rides tomorrow Saturday April 18th starting at 12:00 pm and running till 3:00 pm
To ride the trains persons must be able to walk unassisted and be at least 32 inches tall.
Our members are all unpaid volunteers that enjoy sharing the large scale riding railroad hobby. If we have enough volunteers participate tomorrow we will give extended rides on what we call the Crenshaw line. This train ride gos along the side of Wilson park almost to Crenshaw boulevard. The train than turns around and comes back it’s about a 25 minute ride. Our members have built and maintain all the trains and the facilities. It’s been a large commitment by a lot of people over the last 30 years. Our small group of members is from the surrounding areas and we have had a wonderful time being part of the City Of Torrance community. If you would be interested in volunteering with our group please inquire with our station crew tomorrow.
