Sometimes the greatest ministry outcome is a faithful leader who doesn’t quit.

Today, pray for a pastor or ministry leader carrying more than you can see 🙏🏼

Pray for strength.
Pray for courage.
Pray for rest.
Pray that they remember they are not carrying it alone.

Leaders need people in their corner.

What if God Is ALREADY preparing the way? 🇯🇵

Earlier this month, Matt and Onalee traveled to Japan with a simple desire:

To listen. To learn. To pray. And to ask God how Developing Workers might be part of what He is doing among the Japanese people.

What they experienced was far more than a ministry trip.

They met global workers and national leaders who are faithfully serving in the midst of tremendous spiritual opposition.

They met leaders dreaming about new ways to reach the Japanese people—including planting churches along major train lines, just minutes from the stations.

And then came the moments that reminded them:

God is already ahead of us.

Two Japanese college students who had been connected to global workers in Japan are now coming to Arizona for flight school—just minutes from the Parker family’s home.

A relationship that began across the world is now unfolding right in their neighborhood.

And in another conversation, Onalee connected with a ministry wife who had prayed that God would send someone to encourage her that day.

Onalee was the answer to that prayer.

These moments may seem small.

But they’re reminders that God is at work in ways we could never orchestrate ourselves.

Developing Workers longs to see a multiplying disciple-making movement in Japan—and we believe this trip was just the beginning of discovering what God is inviting us into.

We are grateful for every person who makes these moments possible through prayer, generosity, and partnership.

The story is just beginning.

And we can’t wait to see what God does next.

“Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”Ecclesiastes 4:12

Marriage was never meant to be lived out in isolation.

For ministry leaders, that can be especially important.

Pastors and their wives carry the joys, challenges, grief, pressure, and weight of ministry together. And when a marriage is rooted in Christ and surrounded by people who encourage and strengthen it, that marriage can become an anchor for others.

Strong marriages strengthen families.
Strong families strengthen churches.
Strong churches strengthen communities.

That’s why caring for the pastor means caring for the pastor’s wife, too.

At Developing Workers, we believe leaders need people who will come alongside them—not just in ministry, but in life.

Because every leader needs someone in their corner.

And sometimes, the person standing beside the leader needs a Barnabas, too.

A leader’s influence isn’t measured only by WHAT they accomplish.

It’s seen in the PEOPLE they develop.

The people they encourage.
The people they challenge.
The people they walk alongside.
The people who become leaders themselves.

At Developing Workers, we believe leadership development happens up close, personal, and over time.

Because when you invest in a leader, you’re never investing in just one life.

You’re investing in the people they’ll impact, too.

What happens when we say YES to God?
At the Global Discipleship Congress 2026 in Thailand, leaders from across nations gathered to fellowship, grow, pray, and learn together.

And because of your prayers and generous partnership:

🌏 18 Discipleship Directors and Representatives participated in the Discipleship Summit.

🌏 94 delegates from 22 churches and organizations representing 5 countries joined the Congress.

🌏 600+ Thai students heard the Gospel through Mobile Camps in 4 schools—including 3 Buddhist temple schools.

But the impact didn’t stop when the Congress ended.

After seeing the needs of the mission field firsthand, some delegates committed to support Better Life Thailand, helping provide weekly soccer field rental for a church plant in Bangkok.

Others are already planning to return to Thailand for short-term mission trips—with the hope that God will lead some toward longer-term commitments.

This is the ripple effect.

One opportunity.
One relationship.
One step of obedience.
One seed planted.

And God can use it to reach far beyond what we can see.

We are so grateful to everyone who prayed, gave, served, and partnered to make this possible.

The story is still unfolding.

And we can’t wait to see what God does with the seeds that have been planted.

This Easter, we remember the heart of it all:

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” — John 3:16

Easter is the story of love.

A love that gave.
A love that sacrificed.
A love that made a way for life.

Because of Jesus, we don’t just know about this love—we are invited to live in it and share it.

This is the message we carry.
This is the life we pass on.
