Join us for a Femmes/Trans/Women’s only social bike ride starting and ending at Brick Road Coffee in Tempe! After the ride, we’ll grab coffee/tea/smoothies from BRC and get to know one another. All bikes welcome.

Time: meet at 8am, roll out at 8:15am
Length: 6 miles
Route: primarily low-stress neighborhood streets and canals
Pace: social/party pace (8-12mph)
Bring: locks, loot, and water

Don’t just complain about the problem, be part of the solution. At our public comment webinar, we share information about civic engagement and making effective comments at public meetings. At this training we:

🎤 Consider the power of stories
🎤 Learn public meeting format and elements of a strong comment
🎤 Practice delivering 2-minute public comments

You’ll leave with a good understanding on how to make yourself heard, and how to take the right steps to make effective public comments.

🚨Alameda Drive Bike and Ped Path Connection Project🚨

Construction will begin July 20 for a new multi-use path on the Alameda Drive alignment from the pedestrian crossing at the railroad to south Wilson Street and Alameda Drive on the west side of the railroad. This new connection will include landscaping and lighting. Pedestrian and bicycle access will be maintained except for one day of full closure near the end of July. Signs will be posted in advance when the closure date is scheduled. Please be aware of barricades, signage and detours. Project dates and work hours are subject to change. Business access will be maintained. The project is anticipated to be completed in late summer 2026.

Anticipated timeline and work hours: July 20 – late summer 2026, 5 a.m. – 3 p.m., 4 a.m. for concrete pours
