New PAL spot unlocked! 🔓🎉

Our mentorship groups are now meeting at the Mary Phillips Senior center in Old Town Temecula. Some of our mentees have already checked out the space and for others the fun is just getting started!

A huge thank you to the City of Temecula (City of Temecula) for giving our groups a place to hang out, try new things, and make memories together. We can’t wait to see everyone there! 💜🎉

The Back to School Bash also serves as a “Back to PAL” event as we prepare for our mentoring sessions to resume in the next few weeks!

Last month, our PAL Southwest Valley Youth Court members headed to UC Santa Cruz for the California Association of Youth Courts’ 21st Annual Youth Summit! 🎉

They spent the week connecting with youth from across California, learning from inspiring workshops led by youth leaders, state partners, the California Office of Youth and Community Restoration (The Office of Youth and Community Restoration) and other professionals who are helping shape the future of youth justice.

Between sessions, they explored the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, built new friendships, and made memories they’ll never forget.

We’re so proud of these young leaders for representing Riverside County with curiosity, confidence, and heart. We can’t wait to see how they’ll use what they learned to make a difference back home! 💙

🌱 Yesterday, our Young PAL mentees had the opportunity to tour the greenhouse at Temecula Valley High School and learn about the incredible work being done to grow plants, develop skills, and create opportunities for youth in our community.

Experiences like these help our mentees explore new interests, connect with positive role models, and see the many paths available to them as they grow.

A huge thank you to Rose Haven Heritage Garden, Rising Above Club at TVHS, and Murrieta Police Department for helping make opportunities like this possible for our youth! 💚

🎓 Last week, we had the opportunity to celebrate our PAL seniors and recognize their commitment to growth, leadership, and community. While several couldn’t attend due to other commitments, we were proud to honor all of them as they prepare for their next chapter.

From college and technical schools to military service and new career paths, these young leaders are taking incredible steps forward. During the celebration, they reflected on their time in PAL, the lessons they’ve learned, and the connections they’ve built along the way.

Congratulations, Class of 2026. We can’t wait to see what comes next. 💙

Who gave RivCo PAL access to the disco ball trend? 💜🪩🚓

Honestly… no regrets. ✨

This National Police Week, we honor the officers who show up for our youth and communities far beyond the badge. 💙

Through Riverside County PAL, mentorship continues to make a difference. From Murrieta to Menifee, Indio to Southwest Station, we are grateful for the officers, deputies, and mentors who invest their time, leadership, and heart into the next generation.

Thank you for building trust, creating connection, and reminding our youth that positive relationships matter.

Respect. Honor. Remember.

Young PAL had the opportunity to visit the beautiful (Temecula Heritage Rose Garden) this week alongside our mentors 🌹

Thank you to the Temecula Heritage Rose Garden for hosting our youth & officers and helping create a space for connection, mentorship, and positive experiences in the community.

PAL is about kids, cops, and community coming together in meaningful ways. We’re grateful for community partners who continue to pour into the next generation alongside us. 💙

Our PAL officer Carla Sanchez () , invited our team to her Every 15 Minutes program at Murrieta Valley High School. An important program to show the impact of impaired driving. Our PAL chapter offers diversion classes such as Substance Use Education and Victim Awareness, that touch on the consequences of our choices. Thank you for having us, it was powerful to watch and listen to speakers from CHP (), CAL FIRE (), DA’s Office (), Murrieta PD (), and Lily Kelly Ministries ().

This morning was egg-cellent 🐰🥞

Our Pancakes with PAL event brought together youth, mentors, and community over hotcakes and connection. Huge thank you to Officer Sanchez from for investing time with our youth, and to for helping us stack up the smiles with breakfast.

We’re all about creating spaces where young people can grow, connect, and feel supported—and today was no yolk. 💛
