The TM technique is a natural and effortless technique practiced for twenty minutes twice daily while sitting comfortably with the eyes closed. During the medita

tion practice, the mind settles down to quieter levels of thought and rests in the silent reservoir of intelligence, energy and creativity. The body correspondingly settles down to a state of deep rest. This experience of inner wakefulness and deep rest is the basis of great dynamism and achsievement in life. The TM practice is unique among meditation techniques distinguished by its simplicity and profound, immediate results. It is not a religion or philosophy and involves no change in lifestyle. It is easy to learn and enjoyable to practice, requiring no effort, concentration or special skills. The Transcendental Meditation program is by far the most extensively researched program for self-development. Daily practice of the TM technique awakens the brain’s latent resources.
