Just getting through every day is a lot. So, it's been a while since we've done any removals. But a friend called and needed our beekeeping expertise, that may it be😊. A swarm just showed up and had designs on a tree cavity that was in a tree that is regularly climbed by her kids. A clump of bees had fallen to the ground and we found a balled dying queen in it. The other queen was running around on the bivouac. Caught her in a cage and scooped the rest into the nuc box. We'll go pick them up after dark. I forgot how much fun this is!

A Club Buy is being offered for Eucalyptus Nuc boxes. Normally listed for $30, members can get them for $25 at the next meeting. They are made from select grade lumber. The bottom board and migratory lid are already assembled. Members from Lake, Sumter and Citrus have bought them and love them. Some people have come back for more. You can't build one for this price!
