Meet Crossnet, one of the many games available to borrow from the Library of Things. This four-way volleyball game is easy to set up in the backyard, at the park or wherever your next get-together takes you.

As Zoey demonstrates, you might even attract a few enthusiastic spectators! 🐾

Borrow Crossnet and discover dozens of other games, tools, outdoor equipment and more with your library card. [...]

Repost 🦸 And just like that...C4Con is a wrap! Today, we welcomed more than 450 people into the Homosassa Library for the 6th Annual Citrus County Comics and Cosplay Convention! From costumes and comics to games, vendors, and plenty of fandom fun, it was an incredible day!

Events like today are only possible with the help and support of a small army of vendors, volunteers, Friends, and staff. Thank you to everyone who helped make C4Con 2026 another fantastic event!

As always, we have TONS of pictures from today, but it will take us a little time to get them processed and ready to share. In the meantime, if you snapped some great C4Con photos, we’d love to see them! Feel free to send them to us in a message or tag Citrus Libraries in your posts.

Recent reports from communities across the state have raised questions about the future of library hours, branch access, new library projects, recreation centers, nonprofit partnerships, and even whether some residents may need to pay directly for library cards that are currently provided as a public service.

While the effects may vary from one community to another, the underlying question remains the same: What happens to local services when local revenue is reduced?

Public libraries depend on stable local funding to provide essential resources and services, including books and digital materials, children's programs, public computers, Wi-Fi access, job search assistance, senior services, community meeting spaces, outreach programs, and welcoming places where everyone can connect, learn, and grow.

Before Election Day, take a few moments to learn the facts about Amendment 3 and consider what it could mean for Florida libraries and the communities they serve. Every resident benefits when libraries are able to provide free, equitable access to information, education, technology, and opportunity.
