FRWA is a non-profit, non-regulatory associaton of water and wastewater systems. Its primary purpose is to support systems with every phase of water and wastewater operations.

Risk & Resilience Assessments help utilities identify vulnerabilities, strengthen emergency preparedness, and improve the long-term reliability of their systems.

Utilities serving populations of 3,330+ must certify completion of their Risk & Resilience Assessment by June 30, 2026.

Sponsored through the Florida Rural Water Association (FRWA), the program encourages the advancement of women in the water sector and helps develop the next generation of industry professionals through financial assistance and career support.
