Shelter Dogs For Veterans is a 501 C(3) nonprofit organization providing our combat wounded veterans and first responders suffering with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Traumatic Brain Injuries with a new found freedom through a trained service dog. These dogs are rescued from kill shelters and partnered with the veteran. We then work with the veteran and the dog, training the dog to the vetera

n’s specific needs. Our program not only improves the lives of our veterans but saves shelter dogs from euthanization providing them with a forever home. The Shelter Dogs For Veterans program only trains dogs selected from kill shelters by our certified dog trainer. This policy not only ensures that you receive the right canine partner to fit your needs but it also saves the life of an unwanted animal.
