It is important to keep in touch with those we care about. Whether we see them every day, once a week, or every few months.

Texting or calling someone helps maintain and even build social circles, a study published in The American Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry, "found that positive social interactions is linked with a sense of purposefulness in older individuals." Connecting with people in our friendship circles and even community help reinforce positive social environments and sense of comfort among others. Staying connected keeps us healthy as well, a healthy mind leads to a healthy body.

So make sure today you are reaching out to loved ones that you might not have talked to recently and ask them how they are doing💟
