The Ellijay Lions would like to thank you for all your kindness and generosity. Our annual White Cane bucket brigade raises money to support the Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation, Inc. Surgery Program. This program funds more than 300 eye surgeries a year to those who qualify but lack insurance and the financial means to pay for these procedures themselves.
The average single-eye surgery costs about $1,250. Every dollar we raise during our White Cane drive goes directly toward covering these costs and restoring sight to our neighbors in need. Many thanks to our neighbors who help us raise funds for this very worthwhile cause.

OUR MISSION Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation, Inc. provides vision services through education, detection, prevention, and treatment. Through collaborative partnerships, we enable greater independence and increased quality of life for Georgians in financial need. We are building a better tomorrow....

It was a true privilege to meet District L Governor Steve Woodward this week at our Lions Club meeting. His presence, leadership, and insight were both inspiring and encouraging. We appreciate him taking the time to connect with our club, share his vision, and support the important work we do in our community. It was an honor to learn from his experience and dedication to service, and we are grateful for the opportunity to meet with him.

We are at Chick-fil-A Ellijay from 1:00-3:00 today hoping to receive some donations to help with the children of Gilmer County. Other locations if you are near by are Ingles, McDonalds, 4 way stop by Long Horn and the park. Come on out and say Hi
