Outstanding work by Tacoma Mountain Rescue Unit on a challenging overnight mission in some incredibly difficult conditions.

PCESAR was glad to support the mission by sending a team into the field early in the morning to meet TMR personnel and the subject on their way out—and, most importantly, bring some well-earned hot cocoa! We also brought our command truck to help maintain communications with TMR personnel throughout the night and with our team in the field.

This is a great example of the teamwork that happens between SAR units across county lines and a powerful reminder of the value of carrying a satellite communication device when traveling in the backcountry.

Great work, TMR, and great work to our members!
