Toledo is in for a treat! June, 13 and welcome Ray Angry in concert! I had the privilege of interviewing this genre defying pianist who studied classical, jazz, played R&B, hip hop, was a founding member of The Roots & plays with Jimmy Fallon’s house band for The Tonight Show. Started researching Backrooms after writing about the film for “what to see in May” at the movies. The YouTube series (under Kane Pixels) is great. This medium of online analog horror will be where a lot of talent is discovered. Starlite’s goal is to have a physical space for creatives to meet and show their work. We’ve been working on a location. Backrooms, Obsession, & Hokum have helped reinvigorate a suffocated industry & is a boon for the horror genre! If you love horror support these films at a theater.
