This is what Family Fun Day is all about. 💛

Bringing families together for a day filled with fun, connection, and inclusion. Family Fun Day is one of the many ways our Independent Living team creates opportunities for people with disabilities to connect with their community.

And we’re already looking forward to next year!

Interested in being part of Family Fun Day 2027 as a participant, community partner, volunteer, or sponsor? We’d love to hear from you. Reach out to our team to get connected.

Meet Luke.

When Luke first connected with The Ability Center, he was looking for housing support and ways to become more involved in his community.

Since then, he’s found an apartment he loves, discovered new ways to connect through Adaptive Judo, Crash Football, pickleball and game nights, and is working toward his next goal: a career as a welder.

For Luke, it’s all part of becoming more independent and building the life he wants.

His advice for anyone going through a difficult season?

“Fall seven times, get up eight.”

🐾 PAWS & PLAY IS BACK!

This was one of our most-loved events last year, and it sold out, so we definitely recommend grabbing your spot early!

Join DOT Playspace + The Ability Center for a special morning of play with some very adorable four-legged guests. 🐶 Kids will get to play, explore, and meet Assistance Dogs in training while supporting the incredible program that raises and trains them.

Even better? A portion of every ticket sold will be donated directly to The Ability Center’s Assistance Dogs program. So your morning of play gives back, too. ❤️

📅 Sunday, October 4
🐾 Session 1: 9:00–11:00 AM
🐾 Session 2: 11:00 AM–1:00 PM

Last year sold out. Reserve your session early!

🎟️ Registration is open now at dotplayspace.com/events
