Enriching the quality of music education, performance, and awareness in Sycamore School District 427 and our community. Please contact us for more information.

The purposes of the Sycamore Music Boosters include working with the authorities of Sycamore School District 427 and the Music Department to improve the music program for the benefit of the school, the students, and the community. We aim to create public awareness for the school’s music program. The Sycamore Music Boosters will assist in raising monies for music scholarships and awards for deserving music students, concert trips, and other projects thought to be helpful to strengthen the programs and not assumed by the Board of Education. We will encourage the Board of Education in supporting an expanding comprehensive music program.

A huge thank you to everyone who makes this event a success year after year! Without our vendors, volunteers, performers and attendees this event would not possible. Sycamore High School is always a great venue and their building maintenance team is the best partner for setup, takedown and keeping the space clean. Thank you to EDU Kit (formally known as School Tool Box) for the use of their flatbeds and the Sycamore Golf Club for borrowing us a few golf carts to support us with getting attendees to the fieldhouse. Last but not least, thank you to Taki's our go to food vendor.

We would like to thank Tonya Billips-Sheehan and family for their very generous donation in memory of Burley Billips. Burley was an avid guitarist in the Sycamore/DeKalb area. The family raises money during their annual golf outing and donates the funds to different organizations that support passions of Burley's. We are grateful they thought of us and will put the funds to good use supporting Sycamore's music education program.
