We’re getting closer to Trunk or Trick, and we’re so excited to introduce another one of our CONFIRMED trunks — Autism Support Now! 🌟

Autism Support Now has already been such a wonderful supporter of our community—including generously helping us bring Marshall to the gym! ❤️

Their support for families goes far beyond events, though. They provide ABA therapy for children from around 10 months through age 14, accept Medicaid-eligible families, and offer additional services and supports that can continue into the teen years.

Whether you’re just beginning to look into services for a little one, searching for ABA options, or trying to figure out what supports are available as your child gets older, their team is a great resource to stop by and talk with.

Autism Support Now ABA Services

St. Louis Arc's Capable Kids and Families® (CKF) program received grant funding from ARCHS - STLARCHS in the amount of $75,400 for FY 2027.

We are grateful for their continued support and work in the community!

Capable Kids and Families is a program designed to promote early intervention by providing children, ages birth to seven years, with developmentally appropriate toys and therapeutic equipment, on loan, free-of-charge. Additionally, the program connects families to community resources that meet their needs, and facilitates network building, advocacy, and supportive friendships among parents.

GOOD NEWS!
Our Children's Services staff partnered with childcare centers in North County to help build a dental care partnership with Children's Hospital's mobile dental bus. This service grew from supporting one family to dozens of children! After learning that families were struggling to afford and access dental care, the staff worked to create an accessible program, including supporting students with developmental disabilities on the bus, preparing the kids beforehand with books and visual aids, and digitizing consent processes for parents to simplify enrollment. This has impacted over 60 students and is free for all families. Way to go, Children's Services!

After his first year as a dishwasher for McKnight Place Extended Care, Terrion was nominated as a Shining Star by seven department heads—a true testament to the impact he’s made across the team.
