To Our Fellow St. Louisans & Our Dear Neighbors,
Our Mission Guided By Faith Foundation has spent the last seven years working to lend a hand to the people of St. Louis. From our time spent feeding chlidren hot meals all across St. Louis City schools with our Hungry No More program (sponsored in part by Tyson Foods) to our annual Holiday Toy Drive we bring to our neighbors each winter, we have always tried to go to those in our community who are most in need.
2026 is our 7th year in operation, and with it comes our newest and most ambitious challenge to take to task yet: fighting housing instability amongst veterans and former prisoners reintegrating into civilian life.
That's why we've begun work on our newest project, the Between Missions program.
Between Missions is more than just a program -- it's a new pathway to a better life for those reassimilating to a life in civilian society that they have been absent from for many years due to military service or incarceration. Between Missions offers transitional, faith-based independent housing right here in the St. Louis Metro area for United States Military Veterans and formerly incarcerated individuals. Our mission is to provide stable living quarters, structured and routine-driven housing, and mentorship services focused on job placement, fiscal responsibility, and community support so all can build their lives anew in a sustainable, holistic way.
Residents will focus on essential goals such as meaningful employment, personal finance management, sobriety, and community service while living in the Between Missions house with others looking for a fresh start in a household they will be responsible for sharing, maintaining, and contributing to. In doing so, the Between Missions program and the OMGBFF staff and volunteers will help residents equip themselves with the necessary skills to thrive outside the house later down the line when they are financially and mentally prepared to take on their new independent lives, wherever those may take them.
Our program is in the early stages of development still, securing fundng and drawing up plans as to how to make this program the most beneficial not only to our new residents, but also to the greater St. Louis Metro area and everyone in its commuinty. Therefore, we invite you, our neighbors and supporters, to donate to the Between Missions program by following the link attached to this message so that you can help provide housing stability to two groups of people woh are too often lost in their respective systems and who suffer because of it.
It is up to us all to make sure these brave men and women are welcomed back into the community with the dignity and support they'll need to overcome housing instability and to move toward a future of lasting independence.
We thank you and cannot wait to share more updates with you soon.
Yours Always,
The Our Mission Guided By Faith Family
