We are incredibly grateful to the Chesterfield Township Democrats for organizing the 2026 Walkathon 💙

Because of this amazing community effort, we were able to raise and donate over $10,000 to help pay off student lunch debt—making a real, tangible difference for local families and students.

But we aren’t done yet.

We are so grateful to stand alongside the Chesterfield Township Democrats, Sue McCool, and every single donor, volunteer, and supporter who made this possible.

At Support Lunch, our mission is simple—remove barriers so kids can fully participate in school and reach important milestones like walking across the stage at graduation. Because of this incredible community effort, seniors can walk with pride.

This is what happens when people come together with compassion and purpose. It’s not about politics—it’s about people, and making sure no child is left behind over something like lunch debt.

Thank you for trusting us to be part of this meaningful work. We’re honored to serve alongside you—and we’re already looking forward to what we can accomplish together next year. 👏🏽🎉🙌🏽

WE DID IT! In four short weeks, the Chesterfield Township Democrats organized and completed a project to pay off school lunch debt for graduating seniors at the three public high schools within Chesterfield.
We didn't do it alone. It took a good non profit charity, Support Lunch to launch a GoFundMe site for donations. It took over a hundred donors to support us. It took countless volunteers to help publicize, organize and walk with us. We raised more than enough for the seniors. The remaining donations will be shared by the schools for lunch debt in lower classes.
This was a community coming together to address a community problem. This was local people working together. This wasn't political, it was grassroots local problem solving.
Thanks to all who helped. We'll be back next year, bigger and better!
