We’re honored to introduce the Joshua Chamberlain Society as a beneficiary of the 8th Annual 22 Strong Walk!

Founded in St. Louis, the Joshua Chamberlain Society provides life-changing, lifelong support to Veterans who have sustained permanent combat injuries and to the families of fallen service members.

Its support includes financial assistance, tuition support, home renovations, scholarships, and other resources that help these Heroes and their families build stable futures.

Their sacrifice endures—and our support must never waver.

🇺🇸 VOLUNTEER OPENINGS:

REGISTRATION
• 5:30 AM – 9:00 AM — 2 volunteers needed

MERCHANDISE
• 5:00 AM – 10:00 AM — 2 volunteers needed
• 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM — 2 volunteers needed

✈️ AIR FORCE REST STOP
• 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM — 1 volunteer needed
• 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM — 1 volunteer needed

🪖 ARMY REST STOP
• 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM — 1 volunteer needed
• 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM — 2 volunteers needed

🦅 MARINES REST STOP
• 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM — 2 volunteers needed

Even if you can only help for one shift, it would mean so much to us.

These events simply cannot happen without volunteers, and every person who steps up allows JCS to continue its mission of supporting the brave men and women—and their families—who have sacrificed so much for us.

Today, on Purple Heart Day, we pause to honor the extraordinary courage and sacrifice of the men and women who were wounded or gave their lives in defense of our nation.

The Purple Heart is more than a medal, it is a symbol of bravery, resilience, and the tremendous cost of protecting our freedoms.

At the Joshua Chamberlain Society, we are privileged to stand beside our Purple Heart recipients and our nation's severely wounded combat veterans, fulfilling our promise of support for life. Their service did not end when they came home, and neither does our commitment to them.

Today, and every day, we remember their sacrifice, honor their courage, and thank them for the freedoms we enjoy.
