Food Outreach 🌱 Nutrition for Good. Louis area, including various counties in Illinois. Many of these clients are too weak to prepare meals, much less shop for food.

Since 1988, Food Outreach has provided medically tailored meals and nutrition services to individuals living with HIV and cancer, nourishing health, dignity, and hope throughout Missouri and Illinois. Food Outreach is a nutrition resource for men, women, and children living with HIV/AIDS or undergoing treatment for cancer in 137 zip codes throughout the metro St. Others lose their appetite due to

the disease or medication regimen. Still others are undernourished because they are poor or because their disease has made them poor.

Every meal prepared at Food Outreach begins with care, compassion, and a commitment to nourishing our neighbors—and Chef Ray brings those values to the kitchen every day.

As our Assistant Chef, Chef Ray helps prepare the delicious, medically tailored meals that support the health and well-being of individuals living with HIV and cancer. Working alongside our culinary team, he ensures every meal is thoughtfully prepared, meets our high nutrition standards, and is made with the quality and consistency our clients deserve.

Chef Ray is passionate about using food to make a meaningful difference in people's lives. Whether he's preparing meals, supporting kitchen operations, or working alongside volunteers, his dedication helps ensure every client receives not just nourishment, but dignity and care.

A strong mission starts with a strong foundation, and Lacey helps keep everything running behind the scenes.

As our Manager of Administration, Lacey oversees the day-to-day administrative operations that support every part of Food Outreach. From coordinating office processes and managing organizational systems to assisting staff and ensuring things run efficiently, she helps create the structure that allows our team to stay focused on serving our clients and community.

Lacey is committed to making sure our organization operates smoothly and effectively, knowing that every detail contributes to our ability to provide medically tailored meals and nutrition services to individuals living with HIV and cancer. Her dedication, organization, and behind-the-scenes leadership make a lasting impact across our entire organization.

Behind every meal we prepare and every delivery we make is a strong foundation of planning, teamwork, and care—and Long helps make it all happen.

As our Operations Manager, Long oversees the day-to-day operations that keep Food Outreach running smoothly. From coordinating logistics and supporting our kitchen and warehouse teams to ensuring meals and groceries reach our clients safely and efficiently, he helps make sure every part of our operation reflects our commitment to excellence and compassion.

Long is dedicated to creating systems that allow our team to serve more neighbors with dignity and care. His leadership helps ensure that every client receives the nutritious, medically tailored meals they depend on, while supporting the staff and volunteers who make our mission possible.
