A young autistic boy tried to take his own life four times due to bullying in school. 💔

The mum is convinced that the education system is letting down youngsters like her son and that teachers' hands are 'tied' when it comes to dealing with perpetrators, reports Glasgow Live.

Kirsty, who is campaigning for a national bullying strategy, explained: "Since I launched the charity, the number of parents who have contacted me has been horrific.

"Kids who are being bullied are being punished more than the people who are bullying them. It's getting so bad in some cases that parents are pulling their kids out of school.

"I have been advocating against bullying for years now and my son Kyle is still being targeted. He was attacked just before Christmas.

"I don't blame the school because there is nothing more they can do within the guidelines. They can't even punish the bullies. Their hands are tied."

Please have a read and let your voice be heard to prevent the stopping of the essential parts of the Merlin card for those with autism, ADHD or Anxiety disorders.
Reducing eligibility for a card is wrong, taking away the queuing facilities for visitors with ASD will have a detrimental impact, and prevent families from visiting.

If your child or vulnerable adult that is in your care uses MetaQuest or one of the gaming platforms, please, please be mindful who they talk to, as some people are not whom they seem and have sinister intentions.
Having seen first hand an adult(aged 50+) behave in an incendiary manner towards young people on one one of these platforms, very big when it came to youngsters not so much when an adult who would not be coerced, pulled them to book.

Meet Dwayne Smith — Vice President of U.S. Operations at Fighting for Autism

Dwayne Smith is more than just an advocate — he’s a father, a fighter, and a founder with a mission.

As a father of three boys, two of whom are nonverbal autistic, Dwayne has dedicated his life to creating a better world not only for his family, but for families everywhere. His passion for autism advocacy is matched only by his drive to build something meaningful — and that’s exactly what he did with Bryant Hill, an all-natural luxury skincare and grooming brand inspired by his own struggles with eczema and his sons’ sensitive skin.

What started at his kitchen table became a brand rooted in purpose, purity, and family values. Today, Dwayne leads both in business and in advocacy — standing as a powerful voice within the autism community and using his platform to make a real difference.

We're proud to have Dwayne as our Vice President of U.S. Operations and even prouder to support the mission behind Bryant Hill.

Meet the Owner — The Heart Behind Bryant Hill

My name is Dwayne Smith, and I’m the founder of Bryant Hill — an all-natural, luxury skincare and grooming brand built out of necessity, grit, and love.

Bryant Hill wasn’t created in a boardroom. It was born in my own home, for my own family.

For years, I struggled with eczema and sensitive skin. Store-bought products only made it worse — full of harsh chemicals, false promises, and short-term fixes. As a father of three boys, two of whom are nonverbal autistic, I became determined to create something better. Something real. Something safe.

That determination became Bryant Hill.

Every product we make is crafted with care, using clean, natural ingredients that actually work. No fillers. No toxins. Just honest formulations made in small batches — designed to heal, protect, and nourish.

Bryant Hill is named as an homage to my grandparents. The farm I helped my grandparents on was on Bryant Rd. The Hill comes from the hill my grandparents lived on. It represents heritage, hard work, and family — and I’ve poured all of that into this brand. What started at our kitchen table has grown into something so much bigger than I ever imagined.

We’re not trying to be the biggest.
We’re working to be the most trusted.

So whether you're struggling with sensitive skin, looking for high-quality beard care, or simply tired of mass-produced products that don’t deliver — I invite you to try Bryant Hill and feel the difference for yourself.

Thank you for supporting not just a small business, but a family, a mission, and a belief that what goes on your skin should matter just as much as what goes in your body.

— Dwayne Smith
Founder, Bryant Hill
