We are beyond excited to announce that Rare And Black has been selected as one of the organizations to be the recipient of its Patients at the Heart funding. This grant will allow us to launch the Restful Revolution program aimed at raising awareness of narcolepsy and other sleep disorders as well as help college students learn the importance of healthy sleep habits.

"For far too long, the sleep health of students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities and institutions with majority Black student populations have been unjustly overlooked," said Dionne L. Stalling, Founder of Rare & Black. "This innovative program marks a significant step forward. In the upcoming academic year, we will visit up to five institutions in the Washington, DC, and Baltimore area, equipping students with essential sleep habits and shedding light on the challenges of sleep disorders. Together, with this funding support, we can create a future where every student's overall well-being, particularly those from historically underserved communities, takes equal precedence."
