Our Mission: We empower youth and adults in recovery from, or at risk of, Substance Use Disorder to stay sober by engaging in the expressive arts and a vibrant and creative sober community. Staying sober is equally challenging. We focus on helping you stay sober by providing a vibrant and sober creative community that comes together to have screaming fun as we create and exhibit our work! By doing so, we transform the societal dialogue on addiction. If you are in recovery, we invite you and your family to join us. Our Vision: A community that understands Substance Use Disorder, nurtures recovery, supports prevention, and encourages constructive self-expression of sobriety. Last weekend, Hope Creates had the opportunity to celebrate the dedicated educators who help shape our children’s futures! We were also excited to tell them about Make Your M.A.R.C., our youth program that uses music, art, and personal storytelling to inspire creativity and reduce substance use. Thank you to all the educators making a difference in our community!

Hope Creates' staff, volunteers, and participants were honored to celebrate the premiere of Scott Spiezio’s documentary about overcoming addiction.

As Scott's story reminds us, substance use disorder does not discriminate based on talent, wealth, or achievement: “It’s such a difficult disease to watch a loved one walk through, and to see up close, but getting to be a small part of handing those people hope - especially in the messy middle of it all when it’s all so dark – it’s better than any home run I ever hit."
