📺 DAY 31 – KEEP CHANGING THE CHANNEL

As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close,
I want to remind you of something important:
This journey does not end here.
Because healing is not a 31-day challenge.
It is a daily decision.
A decision to pause.
A decision to notice your thoughts.
A decision to stay connected.
A decision to keep showing up—even when growth feels slow.
Over this past month, we have talked about:

* Hope.
* Companionship.
* Healing.
* Expectation.

And through it all, ONE truth has remained:

📺 You are not stuck.
📺 You are not powerless.
📺 You are not alone.

So keep choosing thoughts that move you toward life.

Keep reaching out.
Keep walking with people.
Keep believing healing is possible.
And whenever life tries to pull you back into fear, shame, or isolation…

📺 DAY 30 – SOMEONE NEEDS YOUR LIGHT

You may not realize it,
but your healing impacts other people.

Your kindness matters.
Your presence matters.
Your willingness to keep going matters.

Because there are people watching you
who are learning from your courage.

People who need your honesty.
People who need your compassion.
People who need to know
that healing is possible.

And sometimes,
the very thing you survived
becomes the light
that helps someone else find their way.

So don’t underestimate
the power of your story.

And don’t hide your hope.

DAY 29 – DON’T GO BACK TO THE OLD CHANNEL

Healing is not just about what you start…
It’s also about what you stop returning to.
Because sometimes we outgrow old patterns…
but still revisit them emotionally.
The old channel:
The constant worry.
The self-criticism.
The belief that nothing will ever change.
And if we’re not intentional, we can slowly drift back into ways of thinking that once kept us stuck.
But hear this today:
You don’t have to go back
to the channel that almost broke you.
You’ve learned too much.
You’ve grown too much.
You’ve survived too much.
So, when those old thoughts try to pull you backward—
pause.
Remember who you are becoming.
And choose differently.

Let me leave you with this…
You have not seen your best days yet.

More connection.
More healing.
Don’t let this moment convince you that this is all there is.
It’s not.
Keep moving.
Keep showing up.
Keep expecting something good.
Because your story is still unfolding.
And the best is still ahead.

Life has a way of wearing down expectation.
Disappointment.
Delay.
Unexpected turns.
And over time…people stop expecting good things.
Not because they don’t want to—but because they’re tired.
But here’s what I want you to consider:
You can get your expectation back.
You can choose to believe that something good is still possible.
Not because everything has gone right—but because you are choosing
not to let your past define your future.
Hope is not naive.
Hope is a decision.
So today, begin again.
Even if it’s small.
Even if it feels unfamiliar.
Start expecting something good.

Situations that challenged you.
Seasons that felt overwhelming.
And yet…
You made it.
You got through it.
You found a way forward.
That matters.
So today, don’t just focus on what’s in front of you.
Remember what’s behind you.
Because your past victories
are evidence of your present strength.

But hear this clearly:
This is not the end of your story.
You can rise again.
Not all at once.
Not perfectly.
But gradually.
One step.
One decision.
One moment at a time.
You don’t have to stay where you are.
There is still movement ahead.
There is still life in you.
There is still more for you.

But when you expect something to shift…you begin to move differently.
You notice more.
You respond differently.
You open up again.
So let me ask you today:
What are you expecting?
And is it helping you move forward…or keeping you stuck where you are?

Let’s talk about expectation.
Because expectation quietly shapes
how we show up in our lives.
If you expect nothing…
you prepare for nothing.
If you expect struggle…
your mind starts looking for it.
But when you begin to expect good—something shifts.
You start noticing possibilities.
You begin to see opportunities.
You open yourself to something different.
Expectation is not denial of reality.
It is a decision not to let negativity be your default.
So today, raise your expectation.
Not based on circumstances—but based on possibility.
Expect something good.
