The 4700 Labadie building in the Greater Ville at the corner of Marcus & Labadie was a vacant, boarded up LRA property that is near completion as a mixed use commercial property that has four 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartments, furnished with appliances and washer/dryer. Each apartment will have an off street parking space. The units will be leased to low/moderate income tenants. The lower level will be occupied by the Cote Brilliante Presbyterian Housing Corporation to provide support services, meeting space for tutoring, training, and social programs for youth and seniors.

Jesus is the reason for the season. The love of Jesus was expressed by the generous support of Family Church of Chesterfield. The Collaborative was invited to participate with their volunteers in assembling 400 bags of food and hygiene items for distribution to the families we have supported with delivery throughout the pandemic. Each organization of the Collaborative was given 100 bags as well as boxes of gifts for specific needs families had brought to our attention. The bags and gifts were delivered the week of December 14th.

Each week a group of faithful volunteers assemble approximately 1000 meals that are delivered to the homes of approximately 200 children in North City that are participating in virtual learning due to the pandemic.

Community food sharing on October 21st from 11am to 1pm served 46 families. Canned goods and fresh produce were available.
